About me
My name is Zachariah Isom. I am an IT technician and consultant with over 8 years of experience in the industry. My journey has taken me through various roles, including IT Support Technician, Website Developer, System Administrator, and most recently IT Director. I hold a degree in Network Operations and Security from WGU, which has equipped me with a solid foundation. I understand the unique challenges that small businesses face in leveraging technology effectively and am excited to help manage those challenges.
Our family moved back to Eastern Washington in 2025, when I started West Plains Tech. I'm particularly passionate about helping others use technology to achieve their goals. I focus on what is most important to small businesses - keeping your I.T. equipment and services up working so that you can work, and using technology to make all of it much easier for you.
At the present time, I am the owner and only employee of the company, which means I will not always be available immediately while serving other clients, but I will respond as quickly as possible. Many I.T. service companies are larger firms in Spokane or even nation-wide. I am local to the West Plains and focus on providing support to local businesses that may be overlooked by other companies.
Philosophy
I like to treat my client relationships like I am your hired I.T. person/department. Larger companies hire entire departments of IT personnel to maintain and manage everything. When you hire me, as part of a service plan, or just for a single service call, I become your IT guy for the time you schedule me.
As a part of my service plan, I do have specific software that enables me to remote connect to your computers and servers, provide backups & disaster recovery, monitor your IT infrastructure, and enhance your cybersecurity.
I do not resell I.T. equipment or software. I will help you determine what you need, so that you can procure the required technology. I charge for my time as if I were your employee.
